Extremely Urgent: Tell Congressional Reps to Call for Peace in Gaza

Congressional Reps Being Lobbied to Issue Pro-War Statements

Call on Your Representative to Issue a Pro-Peace Statement: Let's Flood Congress With Email and Phone Calls

Senate Passes Lopsided Resolution by "Unanimous Consent"

Pro-war groups in Washington are actively lobbying Members of Congress to issue statements in support of Israel's continuing attacks on Gaza.  This comes on the heels of Senate passage today of a lopsided resolution offering unquestioning support for Israel's actions.  The resolution, backed by the American Israel Political Affairs Commitee (AIPAC) was introduced by the Democratic leadership and passed by "unanimous consent."

It is extrememly urgent that the pro-war forces be confronted.  Call on your Representative to issue a strong statement in support of an immediate and sustained ceasefire.  The devastation being wrought on Palestinian civilians cannot be allowed to continue.

A survey of the websites of our local Members of Congress indicate that not one of them has issued a statement on the crisis in Gaza.  The official silence must end.  Call or email your Representative today and demand they issue a public statement regarding their position on the Gaza crisis.  Israel is using American-supplied weapons to carry out the attacks on Gaza.  We should know where our Representatives stand.
